Australian Shepard Breed?

Hello! We are getting a Aussie puppy in a few days, and I was just curious about your experience with them. I worked in a kennel for a while so I kinda know their temperament, but then again they were away from home. So how are they with small children? Other dogs/cats? And are they easy to train? I've done a little research but would love to hear from you! Thanks!
